I am going to be honest with you. I believe Trump just learned about Frederick Douglass before his press conference today. What he said about him was so out of the ordinary, that it almost seems like Omarosa (aka the head coon) told her president about the great accomplishments of Frederick Douglass moments before they began filming this. I have no idea what he called himself doing, other than turning black people off further.
Out of all the black people who have accomplished ‘great things’, he goes with Frederick Douglass? He named off about 5 more people which I’m sure are the full extent of his knowledge of black history.
Here is an actual quote from President Bigly today.
“We’re gonna need better schools and we need them soon. We need more jobs, we need better wages, a lot better wages. We’re gonna work very hard on the inner city. Ben is gonna be doing that, big league. That’s one of the big things that you’re gonna be looking at. We need safer communities and we’re going to do that with law enforcement. We’re gonna make it safe. We’re gonna make it much better than it is right now. Right now it’s terrible, and I saw you talking about it the other night, Paris, on something else that was really—you did a fantastic job the other night on a very unrelated show.
I’m ready to do my part, and I will say this: We’re gonna work together. This is a great group, this is a group that’s been so special to me. You really helped me a lot. If you remember I wasn’t going to do well with the African-American community, and after they heard me speaking and talking about the inner city and lots of other things, we ended up getting—and I won’t go into details—but we ended up getting substantially more than other candidates who had run in the past years.”
With the confirmation of Betsy DeVos today, the likelihood of better schools coming to inner-cities is low. Same with his guy for the Department of Health and Human Services, Tom Price who is famously Against higher wages. That means that neither of those first two statements he made are things he means.
We’re accustomed already to him And his administration lying to us. They made Alternative Facts an actual thing, and we’ve noticed them dropping them throughout the first weeks of their run so far. Notice Trump lied about getting more support from African Americans than any other candidate before. He’s also lying about all of the things he’s going to do to ‘improve life’ in the black community. When he talks of sending in law enforcement, that is not a good thing at all. We know he means to do that. All while continuing to spin Alternative Facts, and misdirection our way.
We can only expect this to continue. Stay Tuned In …
Even Sean Spicer has no idea why Donald Trump said what he said about Frederick Douglass today … I think them talking about black people is going to expose how little they know and care about black people. However it’s up to all of us to call them out when they do it. Black History Month couldn’t have come soon enough!
More on the ‘coons at the table’, who all chuckled when Don the Con said Frederick Douglass did lots of great things and more and more people are finding out about it lol …. wow …
It’s nothing new under the sun as all of our ancestors used to tell us. Several of our elders still pass on that wisdom and it’s up to us to understand it. There really is nothing new – the plantation evolved and so have the coons on it. The people selling black people out often do look just like black people. That does Not mean they are ‘black people’ – I’d venture to say they have sold their souls to the devils. These are servants of evil, not people.
People is too kind of a term.
