Rev. Kevin Cosby just settled all debates about confederate flags, symbols, and monuments. They need to come down. If you’re a ‘white evangelical Christian’, you probably support Confederate flags and symbols. In fact, you’ve probably been in many of the recent debates about confederate flags and symbols. You’re on the wrong side of history, and it’s biblical.

In this sermon, he settles all of the debates, pointing to the direct creator of the confederate flag. The quote explains his purpose for this flag, and these symbols keep America from ever truly being United.
I get tired of the Debates about Confederate flags & symbols.
So many mfs are Uneducated but have PLENTY To say.
#ConfederateFlags represent White Supremacy; and Hate for black people; PEOPLE WHO argue are NOT educated; this is a fact; it’s not about ‘history or heritage’ —
Let’s visit the PERSON who created the Confederate Flag; William Tappan Thompson ::: who said — “As a people, we are fighting to maintain the heaven ordained supremacy of the white man over the inferior or colored race: a white flag would thus be emblematical of our cause.[3]

People who continue to Defend Confederate statues, flags, monuments, etc – ARE Racist white supremacist; PERIOD …. and any of you who discount Wikipedia as a source, are also Ignorant uneducated mfs.
Clear as day, the Confederate flag is the white man’s flag. All who fought for it, fought for white supremacy. Those who waive that flag today, and defend monuments like President Trump does, are white supremacists. They think white is ‘above’ all other races, and it’s heavenly ordained. It is not, and they are not either.
However, as long as we continue to have Debates about Confederate symbols, and allow them to remain visible in this land, America will never be united.
